 The Diocese of Leicester held a Day on Rural Mission in the village of Broughton Astley on 10th July attended by around 130 people. REN had an exhibition stand representing its members. The guest speaker on this occasion was the Rt. Revd. Mark Ryland, Bishop of Shrewsbury, who at one time represented the Exeter Diocese within the Rural Evangelism Network.
